The Hammack School of Business (HSB) at Oglethorpe University invites applications for two full-time, Visiting Assistant Professor (VAP) of Economics positions beginning fall 2023, pending budgetary approval. A VAP typically teaches four courses per semester on a ten-month contract. Each position is for a one-year appointment.

A Ph.D. in economics from an AACSB accredited university or international equivalent institution is required. ADB candidates will be considered. Teaching experience preferred.

Both candidates should be prepared to teach multiple sections of traditional undergraduate principles courses, which may include an evening course. A candidate should have the necessary background to teach a section of Intermediate Macroeconomics. The other opening will include teaching an MBA-level Economics for Decision-Makers course.
