The Department of Economics (https://www.lsu.edu/business/economics/) invites applications for a full-time, one-year visiting Assistant Professor position to begin in fall 2023. The successful applicant will teach a PhD-level course in health economics during the fall semester. The course provides the fundamental blocks of the theory of health economics with some empirical applications. Other courses to be taught are undergraduate health economics and principles of microeconomics.
Applicants must have a Ph.D. in Economics by August 2023. Review of applications will begin immediately and continue until the position is filled. An offer of employment is contingent on a satisfactory pre-employment background check.
