The Economics Department, Schmidthorst College of Business, invites applications for a non-renewable, qualified-rank Assistant Teaching Professor in the field of Economics with a start date of August 2023. This is a full-time, non-tenure track, 9-month appointment. Responsibilities include teaching four sections of Economics per semester. The four sections may include one microeconomics course at the intermediate or graduate level, and the remaining three sections being principles-level. Minimum Requirements: Ph.D. in Economics (ABD accepted) or Master’s Degree in Economics with the equivalent of at least 1 year of professional (non-academic) experience. Also required, documented record of effective teaching at the university level as evidenced through a statement of teaching philosophy and teaching evaluations. Preference will be given to candidates with teaching and research experience related to microeconomics.
