The Economics department offers three undergraduate majors: Economics, Business Economics and Business Analytics, but also supports the MBA and other graduate programs with graduate core and elective courses.

We invite two contract (non tenure-track) positions beginning in Spring 2024. Initial appointment is for one year, with possibility of renewal based on performance, department needs, and funding. Ideal candidate will have a Ph.D. in Economics, but candidates with an MA or ABD are invited.

The successful candidate exhibits:

(i) teaching excellence in undergraduate (principles, intermediate and upper-division electives) and graduate masters levels courses

(ii) service excellence

(iii) research activity or concurrent activity in the business community while employed at USD
