Full Text of JOE Listing:
Austin College invites applications for the tenure-track position of Assistant Professor of Economics. Candidates must have PhD in hand before the position begins in August 2024. This position will focus on electives in macroeconomics and data analytics as well as entry-level principles of economics courses and intermediate macroeconomics courses. The teaching load is three (3) courses per regular semester and a Jan-term course once every two-year period. Some participation in college-wide interdisciplinary programs (e.g., data analytics, environmental studies, gender studies, health-care administration, or social justice and community engagement) and service is presumed. Ph.D. in economics is required.
Austin College is a selective national liberal arts college with an enrollment of 1300 undergraduates.
