The School of Information Technology (ITEC) at York University invites highly qualified applicants for an Assistant, Associate or Full Professor position in *Financial Technologies*. This is a tenure-track appointment to the Professorial Stream to commence *January 1, 2024*.

Qualifications include a PhD in Information Systems, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Finance or Business, or a closely related field.

The successful applicants will join the first cohort of faculty members based at York’s new Markham Campus (https://www.yorku.ca/markham/) where they will contribute to the operation and growth of York University's new BSc program in Financial Technologies. The BSc in Financial Technologies for the Markham campus, one of its kind in Canada, is the latest curricular initiative of the School of Information Technology, aimed at offering highly technical training on the application of computational technologies in the finance area. The program is aimed at preparing students to assume critical tech positions in the Canadian and international financial industry and building the next generation of innovators and entrepreneurs in the broad financial technologies area.
