The Department of Economics in the College of Business at Florida Atlantic University (FAU) invites applications for a Senior Instructor position with a start date of August 2024. Prospective candidates should hold a Ph.D. in Economics and have experience of teaching a wide array of economics courses. The responsibilities of the position include teaching macro and/or microeconomic principles and upper division courses in the candidate’s area of expertise. In addition, the position also involves assuming the role of undergraduate program director.

As the undergraduate program director, the candidate will be responsible for promoting the economics major, working with economics majors, and ensuring the well-functioning of the undergraduate program.

The rank of Senior Instructor is the intermediate rank of a three-tier instructor track at FAU. The rank assumes an instructor with significant experience. Salary is commensurate with experience.
