The Department of Economics at Stockholm University invites applications for one junior tenure-track faculty position, starting on September 1, 2024. Strong candidates in all fields of economics will be given serious consideration.
Candidates must have earned a PhD in Economics or related area by the time of appointment, or shortly thereafter. The position comes with a light teaching load and a competitive salary package, including a generous research expense account.
Candidates must provide evidence of excellence in research, which can be demonstrated by an innovative job market paper with a significant contribution to the literature and strong recommendations by referees.
The Faculty Search Committee will conduct interviews online during the period December 11-14, 2023, according to European Job Market for Economists (EJME) guidelines. Other arrangements are possible for short-listed candidates who are unable to schedule an interview during this period.
