The Department of Economics and Statistics is seeking applicants for a tenure-track faculty position at the Assistant Professor rank. An earned doctorate (Ph.D) in Economics, with an emphasis in Applied Econometrics or other closely-related area, from an AACSB accredited institution is required. Applicants nearing completion of the doctorate (ABD) may be considered. For appointment, the doctorate degree must be completed by 8/19/2024.
Preferred qualifications include demonstrated teaching/research experience or course work in Applied Econometrics or closely related fields such as big data, causal inference, and data analytics, and evidence of scholarly research and publications or planned agenda for research, scholarship, or creative activities.
