Position Description: Full-time, tenure-track position at the Assistant/Associate Professor rank starting in August 2024. All areas of interest will be considered. Teaching responsibilities will be at the undergraduate and/or M.B.A. levels.

Required Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics. A.B.D.s in advanced dissertation stages will also be considered, but the degree must be conferred by the start date (8/1/2024). Candidates should demonstrate the potential for excellent teaching, research, and service to the university and profession. Candidates must demonstrate the ability to teach online and teach alternative delivery formats.

Preferred Qualifications: Teaching experience. Interest in teaching Intermediate Macroeconomics and/or Econometrics at the undergraduate level. Willingness to teach other classes as needed. JOE Signals will be considered.

Job Responsibilities: Tennessee Technological University and the College of Business emphasize quality teaching and mentoring. The typical teaching load is 9 hours (3 classes) per semester. Coursework is typically in traditional classroom but also occurs in online and hybrid learning environments. Research leading to refereed publications is required. Service to the university and the profession are expected.
