RTI International’s Health Economics Program within the Center for Public Health Methods in the Health Practice Area has an opening for a decision analytic modeler/research economist. The program conducts contract and grant funded research in the areas of chronic and infectious diseases including diabetes, obesity, HIV, hepatitis, tuberculosis, heart disease, substance use disorders, and vaccination policy. Our program provides clients with innovative research, valuable economic analysis, and effective policy evaluation to improve public health. You will lead and conduct decision-analytic modeling and develop reports and publishable manuscripts on key public health issues. This position offers significant professional development opportunities at a leading research organization with nationally recognized experience in public health research. Economists and researchers in the program perform a wide range of data analyses using econometric and decision-analytic techniques.

Candidates may choose to work remotely within the United States or from one of the following offices: Atlanta, GA; Waltham, MA; Research Triangle Park, NC; or Washington, DC.
