The Economics Department invites candidates to apply for a tenure-track position in economics. Though we will also consider applicants from other fields, we are especially interested in candidates specializing in applied microeconomics, including industrial organization, game theory, labor economics, environmental economics, and international trade.
AUBG is an American-style liberal arts university accredited in Bulgaria and the United States. We expect candidates to be outstanding teachers with the potential to publish research internationally.
We invite applications from candidates at the rank of Assistant Professor or higher.
We base salaries on rank and qualifications.
Qualifications
A Ph.D. in economics or a related area is required. We prefer candidates with undergraduate teaching experience in the US liberal arts style of education and a record of publications or scholarly research. However, candidates who are near the completion of their dissertation are welcome to apply.
