The Graduate School of Economics at the University of Tokyo invites applications for a project assistant professor position in international trade beginning in the summer of 2024.

Besides her/his own research (50% of your effort time), a prospective candidate is expected to participate in a research project on global supply chains jointly managed with the Institute for Digital Observatory at the University of Tokyo and teach one course that meets 13 times a semester each for 105 minutes.

The position is for a fixed term of 3 years, with the possibility of a one-time extension for 2 years.

Applicants are expected to have a Ph.D. in economics at the time of their appointment.
