MetroSight provides a variety of research and consulting services related to metropolitan growth patterns, housing and land use policy, and real estate. Founded in November 2019 by a former Trulia Chief Economist and UC Berkeley lecturer in econometrics, MetroSight performs rigorous data-driven analysis to provide clear and digestible insight. The firm's clientele includes a mix of public and private entities, large and small, with a variety of needs and use-cases.

MetroSight is seeking to fill a bench of researchers to take on future projects alongside their academic routine. Applicants are welcome at any career stage, from graduate students to tenured professors. Compensation shall be set on a project-by-project basis. Examples of projects include housing and land use policy analysis, the prediction of residential development patterns, data-driven writing for a lay audience, the creation of economic indices from novel data sources, validation and demonstration of novel data products' value (e.g. information derived from satellite-imagery), and more.
