Arizona State University (ASU-Tempe) seeks applications for a one-year postdoctoral research scholar in Economic Thought, located in the Center for the Study of Economic Liberty (CSEL) and the School of Civic and Economic Thought and Leadership (SCETL). This position has an anticipated start of July 1, 2024. Relevant fields: History of Economic Thought; Philosophy, Politics and Economics; Constitutional Political Economy.
Description: The ideal candidate will develop their own research, in addition to contributing to ongoing research of faculty mentor(s). The postdoc may have opportunities to teach in SCETL, and be an active participant in workshops, conferences and events at CSEL and SCETL.
Full time (1.0) benefits-eligible; fiscal year appointment; possibility of one-year renewal.
Minimum Qualifications: Ph.D. by time of appointment. Relevant fields include History of Economic Thought; Philosophy, Politics and Economics; and Constitutional Political Economy. Demonstrated commitment working with faculty, staff, students and communities to advance the principals of the ASU Charter.
Desired Qualifications: Demonstrated research agenda; record of conference presentations. Experience teaching in a variety of modalities.
