The Economics Department is seeking applications for a one-year postdoctoral research scholar in microeconomics beginning August 2024. The successful candidate is expected to conduct research and teach a second semester Ph.D.-level microeconomic theory course during the Spring Semester of 2025.

Minimum Required Qualifications
Ph.D. in Economics at the beginning of the appointment.
Interest and ability to teach Ph.D.-level microeconomic theory, including choice under uncertainty, game theory, policy instruments, and mechanism design.

Preferred Qualifications
Strong background in microeconomic research with interests that include topics complementary to the department’s strengths in the fields of labor economics, public economics, or international trade.
