The Kenyon College Department of Economics invites economists with teaching and research interests in macroeconomics and/or monetary economics to apply for a tenure-track position at the assistant professor level that will begin in July 2025. Special consideration will be given to applicants who also demonstrate an interest in economic history. The teaching load for this position is five courses per year. Kenyon College is committed to recruiting and retaining a diverse pool of scholars who wish to join an academic community that places the highest value on intellectual rigor and civil discourse. A complete application includes: A letter of application explaining why the candidate is a good fit for this position, a CV, a statement of teaching philosophy that includes a discussion of how the candidate plans to create a classroom environment in which students from a variety of backgrounds can flourish, evidence of teaching effectiveness, research abstract(s), a job market paper, a copy of the graduate transcript, and contact information for three references.
