The FSU Economics Department is seeking to hire up to two tenure-track faculty members at the Assistant Professor level to join our Faculty in the Fall of 2025. In additions to being faculty members in the Department of Economics, they will be affiliated with the XS/FS experimental research cluster. Candidates from any field will be considered but a demonstrated interest in using experimental methods, whether in the laboratory, the field, or through online participant pools, is necessary.

The Department welcomes applicants entering the job market for the first time and from more experienced candidates. There must be evidence of the potential to produce internationally recognized research (Assistant level) or a strong track record of scholarship (advanced Assistant level). In addition to research, the usual teaching and service duties are expected. Completion of all requirements for the PhD before the date of hire is expected.
