Lehigh University’s Department of Economics invites applications for a tenure-track faculty position as Associate Professor of Economics with a specialization in behavioral economics or health economics, effective July 2025. Experienced candidates in tenured positions or with commensurate experience and credentials are eligible for appointment with tenure. Senior assistant professors, or equivalent, will be considered for appointment as Associate Professor without tenure. The successful candidate is expected to maintain a strong record of high-quality scholarship and contribute to the teaching and service missions of the department, the college, and the broader university.
The Department of Economics offers PhD, MS in Applied Economics, and BS/BA degrees. Department faculty are actively engaged in research and teaching, with numerous university teaching awards and publications in leading journals.
