The Department of Economics in Miller College of Business at Ball State University invites applicants for a full-time tenure-track professor position in applied microeconomics or applied econometrics beginning August 2025. The ideal candidate will be expected to conduct nationally and internationally recognized research and publish their work in top-tier academic journals. They must show an active research agenda at the assistant level or a strong publication record at an advanced assistant level.
Candidates should show evidence of teaching excellence and will be expected to teach both undergraduate and graduate (Master’s level) courses in econometrics and quantitative methods. Other responsibilities include course development and service to the Department, the College, and the University.
Minimum Qualifications: PhD in economics or a closely related field from an accredited college or university. The PhD degree must be completed by the date of appointment.
