Assistant Professor of Economics (Tenure Track – Macroeconomics)
Salisbury University invites applications for a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Economics (Macroeconomics) beginning August 15, 2026.
Duties include teaching Principles and Intermediate Macroeconomics, electives in the candidate’s specialty (e.g., financial economics, money and banking, international economics, labor economics, econometrics), undergraduate mentoring and advising, maintaining an active research agenda leading to publication in reputable peer-reviewed journals consistent with AACSB standards, and departmental and university service. The normal teaching load is nine credit hours per semester.
Qualifications: Ph.D. in Economics (ABD considered; degree completed by start date). Evidence of effective teaching and research potential required.
Salary: $95,000–$105,000.
