We seek a full-time Research Analyst for one to three years, beginning summer or fall 2021.

The position includes work with faculty collaborators at other top universities on energy/environmental, public finance, trade, and health economics.

Candidates should have a long-term interest in research related to economics. This position is ideal for candidates looking to develop empirical research skills in preparation for applying to PhD programs in economics or related fields. Prior background in environmental/energy is not necessary.

A BA/BS in Economics, Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science or related is required; previous experience as a research assistant or pursing independent research is preferred; computer-programming skills are necessary.

Some projects involve confidential Census data, which requires applicants to be US citizens or have resided in the US for the last three years. The position is in Berkeley, CA.
