The Department of Business Development and Technology (BTECH) at Aarhus BSS, Aarhus University, invites applications for associate professorship positions in the fields of accounting and finance.
An associate professorship is a full-time, permanent position. The starting date is 1 December 2026 or as agreed upon. Associate professors divide their time equally between research and teaching activities. The successful candidates will become part of the AIROD research section.

Job Description
We are seeking candidates who can strengthen our research profile. A significant part of our work involves collaboration with business partners, and we often engage in applied research. Therefore, it is important that candidates pursue research topics relevant to modern companies, and those with research activities involving industry will be preferred.

We recognize that the fields are under continuous development, and for this reason, the successful candidates will have ample opportunity to influence both our teaching and research activities.
We expect candidates to have a strong academic background and to be able to contribute to one or more of the following domains:

Management accounting
Financial accounting
Corporate finance
Finance
Operations management
