AP Macroeconomics & AP Microeconomics Reader (June 2–8, 2027)

The College Board is seeking economists to serve as AP Macroeconomics and AP Microeconomics Readers during the 2027 AP Reading. Readers evaluate free-response exam responses using established scoring guidelines as part of a collaborative team of economics educators.

The 2027 AP Reading will be held June 2–8, 2027, with opportunities to participate in person in Kansas City or remotely. Readers are compensated at $30/hour, including paid training. In-person participants receive travel reimbursement as well as lodging and meals.

Serving as an AP Reader offers a unique opportunity to:
