CSMGEP: Gisela Rua
Gisela Rua is a Principal Economist in the Division of Research and Statistics at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System. Her research focuses on topics in International Economics, Macroeconomics, and Economic History. In particular, she has studied the diffusion of containerization, containerization's impact on economic activity, and the effectiveness of fiscal and monetary stimulus in recessions. Gisela earned her Ph.D. in Economics from the University of California, Berkeley.
