CSMGEP: Vicki Bogan

 

Dr. Vicki L. Bogan is an Economics professor in the Sanford School of Public Policy at Duke University and a Research Associate at the National Bureau of Economic Research. She was previously the Geller Family Professor of Applied Economics and Policy in the SC Johnson College of Business at Cornell University. She also served as the Chair of the Academic Research Council for the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau (CFPB). Her research interests are in the areas of household finance, behavioral finance, inequality, and applied microeconomics. Dr. Bogan’s impactful research has been published in leading economics and finance journals and she has testified before the U.S. House Committee on Financial Services on the gamification of finance. Dr. Bogan holds a Sc.B. in Applied Mathematics and Economics from Brown University, an MBA in Finance and Strategic Management from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and a Ph.D. in Economics from Brown University. She also has held visiting fellow appointments at Princeton University and Yale University.
