UNL has been awarded a National Science Foundation grant to open a Federal Statistical Research Data Center (RDC) (https://www.census.gov/fsrdc) which provides researchers with access to restricted federal micro-level data from the Census Bureau, National Center for Health Statistics, and other federal agencies. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to develop research projects using RDC data. Closely aligned with the RDC is the Bureau of Business Research (BBR) which provides additional research opportunities.

Preferred qualifications: Evidence of research excellence in econometric applications of models in public economics or labor economics, expressed strong interest in using RDC data in research projects, and demonstrated teaching excellence.
Consideration of candidates will begin October 30, 2015 and continue until the position is filled or the search closed. The Department will be interviewing selected candidates at the 2016 ASSA meetings.
