The Department of Agricultural, Environmental and Development Economics (AEDE), Ohio State University, seeks applications for Lecturer beginning August, 2017. The appointee will be expected to teach three/four courses during fall and spring semesters; provide outstanding student mentoring; course topics may involve microeconomic principles, managerial economics, data analysis, econometrics, regional economics, economic policy, development economics, or other mutual topics; the number and mix of courses to be taught depends on the needs of the department, the strengths of the appointee and any non-course activity load taken by the appointee; appointee will be involved broadly in the academic life of the department; three-year fixed-term contract that may be renewable upon departmental needs and appointee performance; applicants should demonstrate evidence of outstanding teaching, a commitment to undergraduate mentoring; a Ph.D. in Agricultural Economics, Economics, Business Administration, or related fields is preferred, though applicants with relevant professional degrees and professional experience will be given consideration:
