The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF)—a leading technology and economic policy think tank—seeks an analyst to work on issues related to technological innovation, productivity, and competitiveness. The analyst will identify, collect, and analyze data; conduct literature reviews; and draft reports, blog posts, and op-eds.
The ideal applicant will be a detail-oriented self-starter who can develop innovative and original insights, analysis, and authorship while thriving in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.
Responsibilities:
• Help research state, national, and international policy related to innovation and economic growth.
• Locate, manipulate, and draw conclusions from public and private datasets.
• Write clear and incisive policy reports, op-eds, and blog posts, on a broad variety of innovation and economic issues.
Qualifications:
• At least a bachelor’s degree in economics, public policy, or related field.
• Strong background in Excel with understanding of statistics and data analytics.
• Exceptional writing skills, especially for policy audiences.
• Keen interest in technology, innovation, and public policy.
• Knowledge of business economics and the federal statistics system would be a plus.
• Highly proactive and flexible, with an ability to work on multiple projects in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
