Opportunity: Kent State University at Trumbull invites applications for a full-time, nine-month, tenure-track position at the Assistant Professor level in Economics beginning August 2018. The position involves teaching undergraduate courses in Economics, conducting research, and other duties as assigned. Expectations include teaching excellence, continued professional development, scholarly activity resulting in publications, and service to the University, the profession and the community.

Qualifications: Candidates must have a Ph.D. in Economics by appointment date. A strong interest in teaching undergraduate students and ability to perform scholarly research to maintain AACSB accreditation are required. Experience or interest in teaching online courses preferred. Candidates must have a strong commitment to undergraduate teaching and a solid potential for research.
