The Institute of Economics and Business (IEB) at Beihang University invites applications for full-time, tenure track positions at the Assistant Professor level. Ideal candidates should have developed a promising research agenda and obtained a Ph.D. from prestigious universities at the time of appointment.

The IEB is a research-oriented institute, founded in 2016. Its faculty combines high-profile overseas experts and active junior scholars, and has developed unique research strength in the fields of econometrics, energy and environmental economics, and empirical industrial organization. The econometrician group is led by Professor Tong LI, who also serves as our overseas Dean. The energy economist group is led by Professor Ying FAN, a Yangzi-River scholar and the vice President of the International Association of Energy Economics. The IO group is led by Professor Haijun HUANG, vice President of Beihang University.

Thus, faculty members joining each group will be supported with established academic networks and extensive research resources. They may also communicate their cutting-edge research on the IEB platform, which consists of annual international forums and routine bi-week seminars.
