The College of Business and Management at Saginaw Valley State University, an AACSB accredited institution, invites applications for a one-year, temporary, full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics to start Fall 2018. We welcome applications from candidates with expertise in any field of economics, and the ability to teach a variety of economics courses at the bachelor's level including Introductory Economics, Principles of Macroeconomics, Principles of Microeconomics, Introductory Statistics, and Applied Statistics. The College of Business and Management provides a rich and nurturing learning environment for its students. The successful candidate must meet the College's criteria for classification as a scholarly academic (SA). All full-time faculty members are required to teach 12 credit hours per semester and engage in scholarship and University service.
