The Department of Economics seeks to fill two Visiting Teaching Assistant Professor (VTAP) positions for the 2018-19 academic year that starts in September 2018. These are non-tenure track, one-year positions with the potential to extend for an additional year if need and funding are available. It is preferred that candidates have a PhD, but at least be ABD, in Economics. Candidates must show promise of excellent teaching ability at the undergraduate level

The VTAP teaches eight (8) courses in a three-quarter academic year.

The VTAP may also be asked to do some supervision of undergraduate research that results in research papers.

Required Qualifications:
-ABD in Economics.
-One year of experience of being an instructor at the college/university level.

Preferred Qualifications:
-Ph.D. in Economics.
-Two years of experience of teaching at the college/university level.
