Seeking strong agricultural analyst to examine, interpret and forecast commodity market trends in well-established SF Bay area company.

Eager to become a market specialist, manage your own one-person department while building rapport with business owners, clients and others in the industry, and enjoy working in a small company? Then this is the job for you.

Full-time, Monday – Friday, with competitive compensation, full benefits and Profit Sharing.

Job Requirements:
o 5+ years’ experience in agricultural economist, analyst or similar role
o Master’s Degree in Agricultural Economics (Ph.D. is a plus!)
o Effective written and verbal communication skills
o Excellent organizational, analytical, and interpersonal skills
o MS Office; SAS, R, STATA, and Matlab experience
o Motivated and meticulous, self-starter able to manage multiple projects and prioritize concurrently
o Knowledge of domestic and global aspects of our product market and forcast variables
o Work with owner for continual information sharing
o Review and analysis of competitor markets and global/domestic price and stock trends
o Create and publish market reports and newsletters
o Data entry on market factors and creation of spreadsheets, charts, graphs and tables
o Presentation skills and ability to build rapport with industry professionals
o Solid time management skills
