The Economics Department at Brandeis University invites applications for two tenure-track positions at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor beginning in Fall 2019. We seek applicants with research interests in econometrics and/or microeconomics (including, but not limited to, public economics, international trade, industrial organization, development and labor economics). We are seeking applications from individuals who have either earned a PhD (or equivalent) in a related field or anticipate completing all the requirements for the doctorate by August 15, 2019.
Candidates should have the ability to publish in leading economics and/or econometrics journals and be effective teachers at both the undergraduate and graduate levels. Interested candidates at the Assistant Professor level should submit a curriculum vitae, a letter expressing interest, copies of recent publications and working papers, and three letters of recommendation electronically via EconJobMarket: https://www.econjobmarket.org. Applicants at the more advanced level may submit a cover letter, CV, sample of recent papers, and names of at least three references. Priority will be given to applications arriving before November 21, 2018.
