The School of Business and Economics at Maastricht University, The Netherlands, offers a tenure track Assistant Professorship in Finance

Job description: The applicant contributes to research and teaching in finance. The department has strong research groups and related teaching in sustainable finance, behavioral finance, real estate, financial econometrics, asset pricing, and banking. Postgraduate education is given at the MBA level and on our executive leadership programmes. Administrative duties are limited.

Job qualification: (Almost) Ph.D. in a relevant area, strong research orientation, affinity with teaching, willingness to work in teams, in a collegial environment.

Conditions of employment: The position is offered for a six-year period and, subject to a positive evaluation after five years, tenure thereafter. Salary is competitive according to Dutch standards. Applicants could be eligible for a favorable tax treatment (30% rule).
