Texas A&M International University (TAMIU) seeks nominations and applications for the position of Dean, A.R. Sanchez, Jr. School of Business. The University is seeking an innovative Dean to provide strategic leadership for the School of Business. The desired candidate will have a proven track record of delivering results, leading change, implementing innovative solutions, developing their team and working collaboratively across a complex organization and a broad range of community partners.
The position is a full-time, on-campus, 12-month position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
• Chief academic and financial officer, overseeing budget, fundraising, and accreditation.
• Leads global/local engagement, research, faculty/staff/student development, planning, and branding.
• Fosters collaboration, innovation, and stakeholder partnerships.
Required Qualifications
• An earned doctoral degree in a related discipline from an accredited institution.
• A distinguished record of academic leadership, research/scholarship, service, and teaching that warrants a tenured faculty position.
• Excellent communication skills and a strong vision for the future development of the College.
Proposed Minimum Salary: $20,833.34 monthly
