The Department of Economics at Stanford University is seeking applicants for a tenured level (Associate/Full Professor) position in economic theory. We will consider only candidates with a PhD in Economics or closely related field by start date of employment. Candidates must demonstrate the capacity for high-quality research and teaching at both the graduate and undergraduate levels. Please submit a cover letter and curriculum vitae. Candidates may optionally include research and teaching statements.

The Economics Department, School of Humanities and Sciences, and Stanford University value faculty who are committed to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion. The expected base pay range for this position is $340,000 - $450,000.
