The Department of Economics in the Andrew Young School of Policy Studies at Georgia State University invites applications for a one-year visiting position at an Assistant Professor level, with the position beginning August 2025. This position is located on the Atlanta campus of Georgia State University and requires in-person, on campus-based work. The appointment may have the possibility of renewal, depending upon future allocations of faculty positions. This position involves substantial teaching responsibilities in both lower and upper level undergraduate courses.

While the position is open across fields, teaching experience or the ability to teach courses in some of the following areas at the undergraduate (or MA) level are a plus: econometrics, international economics, money and banking, industrial organization, and applied quantitative analysis, while at the same time being comfortable with core courses (principles of microeconomics, principles of macroeconomics, and/or global economics). Online teaching experience is also plus.
