The Department of Economics at Florida State University (FSU) seeks applications for a Specialized Teaching Faculty position (This is a permanent position, full time, non-Tenure Track). The successful applicant will be responsible for the teaching of large (300 to 500 students) Principles of Micro- and Macroeconomics classes as well as upper division elective courses. Given the nature of the position, a documented history of successful teaching in the areas of Principles of Micro- and Macroeconomics is required. Either the Ph.D. must be in hand or all requirements for the Ph.D. must be satisfied by August 1, 2025. Rank and pay are commensurate with experience.

Preliminary interviews to determine finalists for site visits will be conducted by Zoom in March and April 2025, with flyouts to follow for top candidates. The start date will be no later than August 2025.
