NAM Accepting Applications for the Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards

The National Academy of Medicine (NAM) will accept applications for the NAM Healthy Longevity Catalyst Awards from January 13 through February 24, 2020, through the website of the American Federation for Aging Research.

Individuals and teams residing in the United States are invited to submit 2-page applications detailing bold, innovative, and potentially transformative ideas to improve the mental, physical, and social well-being of people as they age. The competition is open to innovators from all backgrounds, and ideas may focus on any stage of life, as long as they ultimately promote health as people age.

In addition to the $50,000 cash prize, awards include travel to the 2021 Innovator Summit in Washington, DC, where awardees will network with policy makers, potential investors, and fellow innovators from around the world.
