Planet Money cites Richard Thaler's JEP column "Anomalies"
NPR’s Planet Money highlighted Richard Thaler’s “Anomalies” column for the Journal of Economic Perspectives in a piece about how he pioneered research in behavioral economics. The popular radio show and podcast quoted economists Tyler Cowen, Betsey Stevenson, and Greg Mankiw on the column’s impact on the field and how it sparked excitement among young economists and students. The Planet Money piece told the story of how Thaler, a past president of the AEA who won this year’s Nobel Prize in Economic Sciences, first began developing his research. Thaler’s other research that has appeared in AEA journals can be found here.
