Webinar: Helping Faculty Help Students get into PhD Programs in Economics

On Friday, January 28, 2022 at 1:00 pm EST a panel will present information intended to help faculty help their students get into PhD programs in economics.

This panel is cosponsored by CSWEP, the Committee on the Status of Minorities in the Economics Profession (CSMGEP), the Committee on the Status of LGBTQ+ Individuals in the Economics Profession (CSQIEP), and the Committee on Economic Education (CEE) with an eye toward increasing and diversifying the pool of applicants. There will be a panel presentation followed by questions from the audience and then breakout sessions with each panelist. 

The panelists are John List, University of Chicago; James Peoples, University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee; Nancy Rose, MIT; Sandile Hlatshwayo, International Monetary Fund; and Dick Startz, University of California-Santa Barbara.
