Successfully Navigating Your PhD: Mentoring Workshop for 3rd and 4th Year Women/Non-Binary Economics PhD Students - November 17, 2023 (in-person)
Organized by Celeste Carruthers, Melanie Guldi, Catherine Maclean, and Orgul Ozturk, this workshop is held the day prior to the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Southern Economic Association (SEA), which takes place from November 18 through November 20 in New Orleans, LA. 

The Association of Mentoring and Inclusion in Economics (AMIE) - TBD 2023
AMIE hosted the 1st Workshop on Microeconomics in March 2021, as a platform for PhD students to present research, receive mentoring, and to network. In 2023, special panel sessions will also be held on a variety of topics. Visit AMIE to learn more about the organization and how to get involved.

Successfully Navigating Your PhD: Mentoring Workshop for 3rd Year + PhD Students - September 29, 2023 (virtual, on Zoom)
Third- and fourth-year women/non-binary Ph.D. students in economics and economics-adjacent fields are eligible to participate. The workshop will be modeled after earlier workshops of this kind, which targeted women and non-binary PhD students in economics. It is also inspired by the successful CeMENT workshop for female assistant professors in economics, which is hosted by the Committee for the Status of Women in the Economics Profession (CSWEP) and the American Economic Association (AEA).

Berkley Summer School in Environmental and Energy Economics - August 14 - 18, 2023 in Berkeley, CA
The Berkeley Summer School has been funded (thank you Sloan Foundation!). The goal of the summer school is to provide doctoral students nationwide, who have completed the core first year microeconomics and econometrics requirement with an overview of the most important and current topics in various areas of the fields of environmental and energy economics. Previous incarnations of this summer school have helped first year students identify promising dissertation projects. The instructors’ expertise covers a range of important topics. University of California - President's Postdoctoral Fellowship Program 
The University of California President’s Postdoctoral Fellowship Program was established in 1984 to encourage outstanding women and minority Ph.D. recipients to pursue academic careers at the University of California. The current program offers postdoctoral research fellowships and faculty mentoring to outstanding scholars in all fields whose research, teaching, and service will contribute to the diversity and equal opportunity at the University of California.

Sadie Collective -February 2023
Our organization aims to bring together Black women at different stages in their academic and/or professional careers in quantitatively demanding fields such as economics, finance and public policy. The Collective provides resources, programs and a community to Sadie Collective members and advocates for broader visibility in the field. Held in Washington, D.C.
