The Women in Economics Intiativie Mentoring Programme - starts in October 2023
The Women in Economics Initiative set up the Mentoring Programme to empower the next generation of young economists by connecting them in a structured setting. Mentors are needed as well. This is a 10-month program starting in October 2023.
AEA Continuing Education - January 2023
This program aims to help mid-career economists and others maintain the value of their human capital. It is tailored primarily to faculty at liberal arts colleges and teaching-oriented state universities that may have fewer research opportunities than colleagues at universities with PhD programs. Held at the Sheraton New Orleans Hotel in New Orleans, Louisiana.
Mid-Career Peer-to-Peer (P2P) Mentoring Program - August 2023
CSWEP’s Mid-Career P2P program aims to help mid-career economists find community, support, and mentoring. Participants will form small groups of economists at a similar career stage or with similar concerns. CSWEP will provide a suggested “curriculum” and supplemental materials, covering topics like goal setting, time management, planning for promotion, and managing service.
