The School of Economics at the Georgia Institute of Technology seeks to hire a productive scholar with research interests in energy economics and/or environmental economics. Preference will be given to candidates who work on topics within the energy-environment nexus and who demonstrate outstanding quantitative skills. Applicants at the advanced Assistant or Associate Professor level are particularly encouraged to apply. Evidence of successful extramural funding of research and interdisciplinary collaboration is preferred for candidates with experience.

The successful candidate will be expected to teach energy and environmental economics field courses at the undergraduate and graduate levels, and will play an integral role in the School’s PhD program.

Applicants must have received a Ph.D. in economics or a related field prior to employment and have a record of excellence in teaching. Senior applicants should have a record of excellence in scholarship and teaching commensurate with their rank. Junior applicants should show promise for both research and teaching excellence.
