Q: Why should I become a member when I already have access to AEA journals through another source?

A: All AEA member services and products are designed to support your career success. An AEA membership offers many additional benefits at very reasonable cost.

Q: What if I don’t receive one of my print journal issues?

A: Journals rarely get lost in the mail but if it happens to you, we have a few suggestions:

• Check to ensure your mailing address and membership status are correct in your online account. Please renew if your membership has lapsed.

• If you still have problems, please contact us for resolution. (Note:  AEA policy is to honor journal claims up to 1 year past the publication date and allows for a one-time replacement at no cost to the member.)

Q: Can I get back issues or single issues of print journals?                         

A: Online back issues are available to members from the AEA website or from JSTOR. Back issues in print are available for a limited number of years for anyone who would like to fill in collection gaps. Please allow 6-8 weeks for delivery.

Q: Can I get reprints of articles?

 A: PDF copies of individual articles can be downloaded from our various journal websites by AEA members, or through an institutional subscriptiong

Q: How can I get permission to reprint articles?

A: All permissions and copyright are requested through our Nashville office.
