CSWEP Board: Anna Paulson
Anna leads the Bank’s research and policy analysis, including teams that provide analysis for monetary policymaking and conduct research on banking and financial markets, macroeconomics, microeconomics, and regional economics. Her role includes overseeing the Chicago Fed’s work in community development and its outreach to the public and a range of constituencies including academics, government officials, and business and community leaders.
Over the course of her tenure at the Chicago Fed, Anna has served as an economist, vice president in the Financial Markets Group and associate director of research. Her research focuses on how experience shapes economic behavior as well as financial stability and the insurance industry.
She is a past member of the American Economic Association’s Committee on the Status of Women in the Economics Profession and a past board member of the Western Economic Association International. Anna received a Ph.D. in economics from the University of Chicago.
